The Focus of Our Efforts
EDUCATION
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve listening, researching, developing, and teaching. We research current statistics in this field by gathering data, and using that information to instruct, educate and empower communities to "walk alongside widows" in their lives, whether they are friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. Education is an on-going process and we work diligently to deliver on-going content to our network. We offer monthly workshops for those wanting to walk alongside widows via our First Steps & Next Steps classes. See our event page for upcoming dates.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
We know the challenges that widows face are opportunities for their communities to come together and walk with them. We regularly schedule initiatives to help ensure that widows communities are supporting widows. We love working with community members to deliver needed support. If you are interested in becoming a part of our CARE Team, please reach out here.
SUPPORT SERVICES
We offer both support for widows via The Widows Table and support for those wanting to walk with them via First Steps & Next Steps. Additionally, we support widows needs via our CARE Team and our Prayer Initiative Team. We believe we have the ability to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Sacred Share, and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization.
